The massive tempered glass backboard is the same size (72" x 42" x 1/2") and quality used at universities and professional arenas. This basketball goal is so easily adjusted from 5' 6" to 10' (lowest in the industry) that a five year old child could easily and safely accomplish it. We mount the backboard to our rigid, very stable, 6" square (3/16" thick) one-piece pole. The college break-away rim uses an internal dual spring back mechanism that is pressure release adjustable to suit any player's preference. These features combine to make this basketball goal play just like a gym system.

The tempered glass backboard on this in-ground, height-adjustable basketball goal has several unique benefits. It weighs 4 times more than the plastic acrylic backboard that many of our competitors offer. The increased weight significantly adds to the mass of the entire system giving it solid gym-like play. The glass (similar to your car windshield) will stay crystal clear and never dull from scratches like the softer acrylic material. From our 20 years of experience, we have found that tempered glass backboards are the single most important feature in a basketball system to improve the overall quality of play.

The installation of this height-adjustable, in-ground basketball goal is one of the easiest and safest on the market. The exceptional engineering along with our 20 years of installation experience ensure you will be successful. Eight main bolts are all that is required to complete the installation. The backboard and rim can be installed at chest height without the use of ladders by lowering the arms to 5' 6". Backboard, pole and gusset padding is included with this system. Each piece is built using our exclusive molding process that incorporates a steel insert which gives strength at all mounting locations (fasteners can not pull out). The excellent water resistant urethane skinned surface and high density urethane foam gives superior durability and protection for young and elite players.
